My name is Makenzie but most people call me Makie for short. You may want to read my first few blog posts (listed below) to get the real deal on who I am, why this blog is called MakieDoll and find out if you might like my little stories.

I’m a musician and an actor in New York City (although I am now officially ‘bridge and tunnel’ as they say when you live in the suburbs outside of Manhattan). I sing, tell stories, draw a bit and sometimes I even dance. (Drop a coin in the jar next to me and you’ll see what happens – haha, I’m kidding – really.) I’m also a graphic and web designer, “mommy” to a chihuahua terrier mix, wife to a handsome, talented guy, and a country girl at heart. I grew up in Minnesota where the air is fresh, you can see for miles and there’s room enough to ride your horse and dream a bit… but I’m always dreaming, even here.
