As the holidays surround us, enveloping our lives with familiar melodies, thoughts of cheer and the birth of the Savior, I’m reminded to pull my friends and family near both physically and in thought.  Here’s hoping we all enjoy another season of making memories filled with special moments of laughter and love!

We all have our holiday favorites: twinkle lights, starry nights, glittering ornaments, sweet treats, stories and songs – ugly sweater parties and white elephant games.  Here’s a few of my holiday favs.  I had to stop myself though, because I realized the list could go on forever!  What’s on your list?

Sleigh bells ringing.

Nativity scenes.

The real christmas story.

Toffee.  {I’m just sayin.}  And caramels, date balls, kringla, frosted cut-outs… oh my!

Peppermint hot cocoa.

Little bitties in their pjs on Christmas morning.

Classic movies.

Snow.

Frosty horses covered in icicles.

And of course, I’ll say it again: F A M I L Y, Friends, Laughter, Love & Cheer.

   I love all your favorites. Christmas is a special time of the year. It’s easy to get overwhelmed with the shopping and preparations so I have learned to keep it much more simple and enjoy the little things that are mentioned in your post. Merry Christmas!
