Orange Butternut Squash

I love squash! It’s such a fun word too.  Say it with me, “SQUASH!” Squish, squish, SQUASH!

Haha.  I think I entertain myself a bit too much.  Here’s an Orange vegetable in our ROYGBIV veggie/fruit rainbow.

I’ll be making Wholefoods Classic Butternut Squash Soup recipe.  There are several recipes out there, but I’ve had many a cup from Wholefoods, so I’ll try theirs first.  Feel free to swap the chicken broth for vegetable broth.

   mmm squash! beautiful photos, and i’m going to try that soup recipe. i once had the most delicious butternut squash soup and i haven’t been able to reproduce it, yet! the search continues…
