Sprinkles or Jimmies?

I recently heard that some people call sprinkles by another name (jimmies).

So I looked it up…  {and found this fun article}

It’s a very technical term and a very serious issue…

I found that some people call any type of sprinkle a jimmy.

And others only say ‘jimmies’ when referring to chocolate sprinkles.

Hmm… Me thinks they are all the same!

   Sprinkles!!! But there was an ice cream shop in my hometown call Jimmies…and I always thought it was named after the owner..but now I wonder
