The New Normal

I’m going to see a new play by the amazing Donnetta Levinia Grays this evening;  I can’t wait!  The cast is comprised of a couple actors I’ve enjoyed working with on other projects and the play is directed by none other than Isaac Byrne.  Donnetta wrote this play by sifting through blog posts of a friend, a young woman named Anna who has survived breast cancer.  Here’s the link for more info on the play: http://www.coyoterep.org/ Enjoy the video below and if you’d like, visit Anna’s blog: http://dorcasanna.blogspot.com/

   The play was amazing. I cried and laughed and got angry at the bigC and motivated to do something about it. It’s about the journey of one woman’s survival that touches a universal thread > “sometimes survivors need a survival guide.” There are only a few more performances left! Try to see it & support if you can.
